Community Horizons is assisting with the recruitment process of an in-home caregiver for a fellow community member. Start slowly while building a wonderful rapport with the individual, as the relationship grows, so do your hours!
Hours: Sunday 7:30a-12p (with potential for additional hours during the week)
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Dressing
- Showering
- Transfers with ceiling lift
- Personal care
- Meal/snack preparation
- Activities/ Companion Care
- Building a positive, sustainable relationship
Ideal Candidate:
· Christian
· Healthcare experience preferred (will train the right individual)
· Great sense of humor
· Understanding and Compassionate
· Reliable transportation/valid driver’s license
· Must pass Wisconsin background check.
Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
