Would you enjoy spending every other Saturday hanging out and assisting with meal prep, cleaning, and companionship?

Schedule: Saturday 8 am-2 pm every other weekend

Community Horizons is excited to work with 2 amazing community members looking to hire a self-directed caregiver to hang out with on Saturdays from 8 am-2 pm. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for extra hours, experience in the healthcare field is preferred.

Wage: $17.00/hour

Expected Tasks:

• General housekeeping tasks
• Meal prep and home cooking are a plus!
• Community integration- shopping, bowling, etc.
• Verbal reminders for personal care

Candidate requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (responsible for transporting into the community using your vehicle)
• Caregiver experience preferred
• Good at communication
• Dependable, able to commit to the schedule

Who is Community Horizons

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
