Community Horizons is assisting a Wisconsin Rapids female in recruiting the perfect caregiver to assist with open shifts on the weekends. This member is in search of someone dependable, compassionate, and patient with a positive personality.
Wage: $16.32 per hour
Hours: Let us know what works for you
· Casual - Part-Time
· Weekends: Various shifts available including:
7 am - 3 pm, 3 pm - 10 pm and overnights 10 pm -7 am.
· 1-2 shifts per weekend
· Potential to pick up other needed shifts during the week
Ideal Candidate:
· Has 1 year of professional experience in a healthcare-related field
· Is familiar with the needs of someone with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
· Someone who has personal care experience including the use of a hoyer lift
· Someone who can make conversation about pretty much anything
· COVID-19 vaccinated preferred or willing to wear a mask when in close contact
· Has a reliable form of transportation
· Favorable Caregiver Background check
Tasks Include but are not limited to:
· All Personal care
· Changings
· Transfers with a Hoyer lift
· Feeding
· Cooking / Cleaning / Laundry
· Medication Administration
Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organization or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
