Job Summary : The receptionist is responsible for greeting all visitors and callers in an efficient manner and assisting in daily operational functions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Welcomes visitors and calls appropriate personnel to assist visitor.
- Assists in the mailing of correspondence for fundraising activities, donations and memorials.
- Opens and assists bookkeeper with incoming mail. Prepares outgoing mail.
- Coordinates on-call schedules and distributes them to appropriate staff. Fax copy to answering services. Communicates all changes in on-call schedule to answering service at the end of the business day.
- Transfers phone to answering service.
- Accepts responsibility for job performance daily by adhering to department and organizational policies and procedures.
- Articulates and demonstrates professional image daily to employees, patients, and the public.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
