Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems to ensure proper operation and longevity.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with hospital equipment, systems, and structures, including electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC units, and medical equipment.
- General Facilities Maintenance: Perform a wide range of general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, minor plumbing, and electrical work, to ensure that all areas of the hospital are in good repair. This includes addressing cosmetic issues, such as wall repairs and tile replacements, and ensuring common areas are functional and presentable.
- Groundskeeping: Maintain the hospital grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, and general upkeep of outdoor areas. Ensure that the exterior environment is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and groundskeeping activities comply with safety regulations, hospital policies, and industry standards. Participate in safety inspections and audits.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, equipment malfunctions, or urgent groundskeeping needs (e.g., clearing walkways during snowstorms).
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and groundskeeping activities, including work orders, repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies and parts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance and groundskeeping staff, contractors, and hospital departments to coordinate efforts and support hospital operations.
- Facility Improvements: Assist in planning and implementing facility and ground improvements, renovations, and upgrades as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of maintenance and groundskeeping supplies, tools, and equipment. Order and replenish stock as required.
- Customer Service: Interact with hospital staff and patients professionally and courteously, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital activities during maintenance and groundskeeping work.

Compensation:
● Pay range: $21.00 - $24.15 per hour, depending on education and experience.
● Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments,
recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
