Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North Oklahoma City
- This position would be a great opportunity for students to build your resume for future schooling such as pre-med, pre-PA, PT school, nursing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Room and interview patients
- Take vitals
- Chart prep
- Enter patient information into EHR and process any paperwork to check out
- Triage patient calls
- Send out dictation
- Scanning/indexing
- Give patients injections or medications as directed by physician
- Keep exam rooms cleaned/restocked and other duties as assigned
- This position will also have a critical role in helping the flow of a very fast paced clinic
