Responsibilities:
- Ensures, evaluates and communicates compliance with accreditation affiliations and regulatory licensure as they relate to Performance Improvement.
- Ensures organization meets the standards of The Joint Commission (TJC), Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program/American Osteopathic Association (HFAP/AOA), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), state and local authorities, and other accrediting and regulatory agencies with the objective of enhancing patient safety and quality assurance, improvement, and minimizing loss to protect the assets of CWHS.
- Assists with activity and provides support to CWHS in preparations and ongoing monitoring of accreditation standards related to Performance Improvement.
- Maintains and monitors quality matrix and files in compliance with TJC, CMS, and state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Oversees the Quality Management Program.
- Promotes quality achievement and performance improvements throughout organization in coordination with strategic plan of CWHS.
- Assists with establishing and monitoring quality compliance objectives and coordinates target achievement with interdisciplinary team.
- Responsible for processes to meet quality standards: National Benchmarks, Evidence-Based Practice, Core Measures, Care Bundles, Q-Net, and other CWHS affiliations.
- Supports the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in development and production of the OPPE/FPPE statistics for the medical staff.
- Coordinates and supports Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs) Peer Review process – integrating and communicating quality data accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s Degree preferred) with at least two (2) years of experience with quality management/improvement, regulatory compliance, quality standards, and Joint Commission standards
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
- BLS certification (required within 90 days of employment)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- CPHQ (required within 1 year of employment)
Compensation:
- $44.00 - $50.60 per hour, depending on education and experience.
