What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Counselor Overnight Awake Long-term Sub position at Community House Inc.?
Community House is a residential assessment and stabilization program for 6 children with emotional/behavioral challenges. We work with both boys and girls, ages 5-12 years old.
We are looking for a long-term sub for an overnight awake residential direct care position. Overnight schedule is 11pm-8am.
Duties include providing for all aspects of the children's care during the overnight and early morning hours including close supervision, help with activities of daily living, behavior management, and crisis intervention, as well as some housekeeping/ laundry, and documentation.
Pay rate starting at $24/hr. Additional weekend differentials apply to some shifts. Paid time off. Free meals available to all employees when on shift.
Experience working with children, preferably in residential treatment, counseling, or teaching is required. Minimum high school diploma/GED is required. A relevant college degree is preferred. Criminal background check required.
