Clients' Meal Support Specialist
Role Summary:
This position involves working directly with clients to ensure they receive nutritious meals in a timely manner. As a Client's Meal Support Specialist, you will prepare and package meals, receive and unload food deliveries, and collaborate with the Program Manager to advise on food needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing and packaging meals for distribution to clients
- Receiving and unloading food deliveries and assisting with inventory management
- Collaboration with the Program Manager to advise on food needs and complete orders from vendors
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and food vendors
- Maintenance of a clean and organized work environment
- Tracking meal counts and submitting weekend statistics to the Program Manager
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- A current New York State Food Handlers Certificate is preferred
- One to two years of experience working in a food service environment is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Proficiency in English is required, with bilingual skills in Spanish being a plus
