What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live in Home Care Provider position at Community Integrated Services, Inc.?
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Provider to live in with our client and provide full-time, personalized support. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact by assisting with daily needs and fostering a supportive home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive daily care for our client in their home
- Healthcare coordination
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
- Support with all household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Help with grocery shopping and meal planning
- Provide employment support to the client two days per week
- Facilitate community engagement by accompanying the client to social activities, events, and outings
- Offer companionship and participate in activities that promote the client’s well-being
Compensation:
- Monthly stipend provided
- Monthly stipend is intended to cover the cost of care; there may be times when additional expenses are incurred to aid in client support
- No rent payments required; you’ll live rent-free in the client’s home
- Home Care provider is responsible only for their portion of groceries
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable with a live-in arrangement and able to relocate into the client’s home
- Couples are welcome to apply; however, no children or pets can be accommodated
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping others
- Willingness to actively support community engagement and accompany the client in social activities
