As a human services agency, Community Integrated Services (CIS) is committed to serving adults with developmental disabilities and helping them thrive.

Hourly position-training provided

CIS is looking for employees to provide financial assistance services to adults with developmental disabilities. Our programs assist them with financial stability, life skills development, employment, and budgeting. We train employees to ensure they learn the skills and knowledge required to succeed! All new employees will learn the job thoroughly before performing duties unsupervised. This position is an office position and the schedule will be during office hours.

Job duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain accurate financial record keeping.
  • Coordinate company and client finances with Client Financial Administrator.
  • Maintain client financial and company accounting in an orderly manner.
  • Assist with reconciliation of client checking/trust/EBT accounts monthly.
  • Assist with tracking and distribution of gift cards for client and staff use.
  • Oversee the equitable division and paying of client financial obligations such as utility bills and any other shared responsibilities.
  • Update and maintain IFP’s and Rental Agreements annually and/or as necessary.
  • Assist with purchasing needs and wants of clients and communicate with managers per Individual Financial Plan guidelines.
  • Assist with updating/maintenance of client inventory sheets for purchased items over specific amounts.
  • Must have adequate experience with QuickBooks.

$20.75 hourly to start depending on experience, competitive industry wages.

Employment Service Length: Part-time Annual Bonus & Full-time Annual Bonus

1st Anniversary: $100 $200.00

2nd Anniversary: $200 $400.00

3rd Anniversary: $300 $600.00

4th Anniversary: $400 $800.00

5th and beyond: $500 $1,000.00

Employee Referral Bonus (referral from existing employee)

$125.00 to employee making referral - at time of onboarding

$125.00 to employee making referral - at time of referral's 90-day completion

Requirements:

  • Must be highly organized, flexible, service oriented, and professional.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor, coach and teach.
  • Must have comfort related to working with developmentally disabled adults.
  • Preferred experience
  • QuickBooks mastery and minimum of two years of experience using QuickBooks.
  • Two plus years’ experience managing or oversight of multiple financial records and accounts.
