Job Description:
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and repair of the property’s facilities. Your role will require hands-on technical skills to address maintenance issues promptly, with a particular focus on construction and renovation tasks. From general repairs to more complex projects, your expertise will contribute to maintaining the overall aesthetic and functional quality of the apartments and common areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Assist in renovation projects, including drywall installation, painting, flooring, cabinetry, and other construction-related tasks.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various systems, equipment, and appliances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
- Work with residents to ensure timely completion of work orders and ensure their satisfaction with completed tasks.
- Collaborate with the property management team to handle special requests and upgrades.
- Assist in the turnover process for vacant units, ensuring they are prepared for new residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction, renovation, or building maintenance preferred.
- At least [2] years of experience in apartment maintenance, construction, or renovation work.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general construction techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with residents and management.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Experience with commercial and residential renovation projects.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
