Job Summary
Alameda Community Learning Center is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and committed educator to join our caring team as our middle school PE facilitator.
Mission Statement : Alameda Community Learning Center is an educational model that empowers all youth to take ownership of their educational experience, to celebrate their diverse community, and to actively participate as members of a democratic society.
In order to uphold our Mission Statement, "facilitators" must be innovative, flexible, collaborative, supportive of "learners", and maintain open communication with parents / guardians.
Alameda Community Learning Center is an innovative 6th through 12th grade learning community based on a Project-Based Learning model. Learning happens contextually across all subjects, with facilitators creating innovative, engaging, and differentiated day-to-day curriculum and projects to meet the needs of the individual learner.
Alameda and Nea Community Learning Centers are a union organization.
