Community Living Experiences, Inc. (CLE) provides residential support services for adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of Supported Living Sites and Licensed Group Homes.
We are hiring DSPs for a variety of shifts, including full time, part time, evenings and weekends.
AS a DSP (Direct Support Professional) you’ll have lots of options. DSP's work in homes helping people with household tasks, transportation, fun community outings, and so much more.
What is a DSP?
A DSP is more formally known as a Direct Support Professional.
DSPs work with people with disabilities to help them increase their independence and participate in the community.
Examples of things you might do:
- Teach people new skills and encourage them to try new things.
- Help individuals connect with friends and activities in the community.
- Provide transportation to work or social events.
- Work independent or with co-workers to enhance the growth of individuals served
- Teaching/Assisting skills to individuals served that increase independence such as eating, cleaning, cooking and bathing
- Document data displaying the individual served goals and progression
- Protect and honor the rights of people with disabilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma/GED
- 18 years of age or older (must be 21 years of age in older in order to transport individuals)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess current vehicle insurance
- Ability to pass background/drug test screening
- Pass a driver record check
- Possess a working telephone
- Possess reliable transportation
- Participate in annual training
