We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide patient observation and document any changes in behavior or health status.
- Support residents in social and recreational activities to foster community engagement.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect residents' privacy and confidentiality.
- Advocate for resident rights and promote a safe, respectful environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to coordinate care effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for residents, including light housekeeping duties.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care principles and senior care practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with CPR techniques and emergency response procedures is a plus.
- Strong observational skills to monitor changes in residents’ conditions effectively.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members.

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings or weekends.
