What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Coordinator position at Community Medical Associates?
The Front Desk Coordinator coordinates the daily activities of a Medical Office implementing office work flow and managing communication. The individual will be responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, appointment scheduling and reminder calls, and patient concerns. The ideal candidate will be caring, compassionate and be able to put the patients at ease.
Responsibilities
- Greets all patients, family members, and fellow staff courteously and professionally.
- Verifies insurance eligibility
- Processes referrals
- Collects patient copay
- Scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls, and retrieving voicemails.
- Scheduling diagnostic radiology tests and specialty tests.
- Performs all department clerical functions including but not limited to answering phone calls, faxing, filing, copying, scanning
- Manages office supplies and ensures stock is current, appropriate, and par levels maintained.
- Maintains a clean and secure work area to protect patient privacy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $26.00 per hour
