What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Clerk ACCESS position at Community Medical Group?
Summary
Front Desk associates welcome clients/visitors/patients as they arrive to our Access Centers, identify the purpose of their visit, document the client/visitors/patient log accordingly and direct them to the waiting area and/or the corresponding department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Courteously answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Greet visitors/clients, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
- Enter guest information in the visitors’/clients’ log in excel.
- Coordinate the flow of client/visitor/patients to social services agents.
- Coordinate the flow of client/visitor/patients to the DCF (Department of Children and Families) Agents.
- Fax, scan and copy documents for clients, as needed.
- Assist other staff members when needed.
- Handle confidential information including patient information in an ethical and professional manner.
- Ensure that all HIPAA standards are in compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
