Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.
Responsibilities
Position Overview:This position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures utilizing established guidelines. Coordinates and Schedules surgical/medical procedures & resources. Accurately enters surgical data and generates surgical charges. This position will use organizational skills, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with staff, physicians and physician offices.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical Terminology knowledge
- Customer service experience with multiple phone lines
Preferred:
- Six (6) months experience in Surgical or Medical procedure knowledge
- Six (6) months experience in a fast paced medical or surgical environment.
- Six (6) months experience of hospital or medical office scheduling experience
