Compensation

Salary Range: $34.56 - $48.11 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Systems Operations Analyst will serve as the primary tier 2 escalation point for all system and network related service request. This person will be the key resource for proactive system management and daily operational tasks, not limited to monitoring systems uptime, performance metrics, and interface health. The Systems Operations Analyst will manage daily offsite backup rotation, track and maintain network and server systems documentation, report on and track system security patch levels. 

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in related role
• Proficient with Windows OS, help desk ticket tracking software, Active Directory management, DHCP management, print queue management, WSUS, VMware VSphere system management, and system monitoring software
• Solid understanding of Windows patch management and server backup best practices
• Understanding of TCPIP, DHCP, DNS
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

• MCSA Certified
• MCITP Certified
• VCP Certified
• CCNA Certified
