Position Overview
Reporting directly to the ECEAP Subcontract Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring subcontractors meet state licensing requirements and ECEAP Performance Standards. Through culturally responsive coaching and technical assistance, you’ll support subcontractors in achieving their goals and improving the quality of early learning programs.
Key Responsibilities
Subcontractor Support
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and ECEAP Performance Standards.
- Maintain and verify accurate ELMS data and child files.
- Organize and lead ECEAP Parent Policy Council meetings.
Coaching and Quality Improvement
- Guide subcontractors in creating and achieving quality improvement plans.
- Provide feedback and coaching to teachers, supporting curriculum implementation.
- Document coaching activities and professional development in DCYF databases.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in leadership roles within early childhood education.
- Languages: Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish required.
- Proven knowledge of ECEAP Performance Standards, childcare licensing, and Early Achievers.
- Expertise in adult learning principles, coaching, and child development practices.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass Washington State and Federal background checks.
