Position Overview: As a Preschool Teacher at CNS, you will play a key role in fostering a warm, supportive, and engaging environment where young children can thrive. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a deep commitment to supporting the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative, engaging lesson plans that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Promote literacy, language, and communication skills through interactive activities, stories, songs, and games.
• Foster a positive classroom culture, encouraging cooperation, respect, and kindness among students.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
• Establish effective communication with parents and caregivers to support the child's learning and development.
• Provide a safe and stimulating environment where children feel valued and excited to learn.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a holistic learning experience.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working with preschool-aged children (minimum of 1 year preferred).
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating positive educational experiences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Ability to create and maintain a nurturing, fun, and inclusive classroom environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• 5 hours Health and Saftey Training (online)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week
