The National Training Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization by spearheading the strategic planning, design, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training and development programs for our workforce. The National Training Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the organization by spearheading the strategic planning, design, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive training and development programs for our workforce. This position serves as a crucial bridge between executive leadership and staff, facilitating company-wide training initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Establish a roadmap for assessing and fulfilling training and development needs, aligning them with corporate objectives to optimize employee performance
- Lead system administration for the learning management system
- Conceptualize and execute training programs tailored for both management and staff, reflecting the latest industry trends and innovative learning methodologies
- Develop engaging learning materials, including multimedia resources, instructor guides, and highly effective lesson plans
- Conduct evaluations of training courses, while measuring their impact on employee achievements and performance
- Collaborate closely with executive management to address complex performance, organizational, and leadership challenges, conducting insightful assessments and recommending strategic improvements
- Partner with Quality Assurance, Clinical, and Operational teams for certifications, audits and investigations
- 30-50% travel nationally to support operational need
- Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Bachelor's degree in training and development, organizational development, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in training and development, including at least three years in a leadership role
- Experience with electronic learning management system; Relias LMS preferred
- Proven track record of designing and implementing transformative, company-wide training and development programs that have significantly impacted organizational growth and success
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an innate ability to influence and drive change at the highest levels
- Proven track record of effective leadership and strategic thinking, demonstrated through a history of executive-level decision-making
- Outstanding presentation abilities, and ability to engage and inspire at all levels of the organization
- In-depth familiarity with diverse multimedia training tools and methodologies, utilizing and recommending technologies to enhance learning experiences
- Expertise in assessing and researching training alternatives and options, providing strategic recommendations
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
