What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Community Options, Inc.?
Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition
Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculu
Communicate with the families and guardians of individuals we support as neede
Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior managemen
Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timel
Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concern
Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our car
Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies including groceries, medications, and cleaning supplie
Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent require
Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilitie
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving recor
Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilitie
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
Working Conditions
Work in residential programs, day programs, and in the communit
Schedule may change due to business needs and may include evening and weekend hour
May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staf
