Summary :
The Major Giving Officer CRNC is a visionary professional responsible for building and managing a comprehensive major gifts program to support CRNC’s mission. This is a newly established program, requiring a proactive and dynamic individual to cultivate and engage a network of supporters. This position brings a passion for public media to CRNC and can use that passion to develop and cultivate positive relationships with donors which ultimately result in financial support.
Essential Functions :
Donor Portfolio Management
- Develop and manage a personal portfolio of approximately 75-100 individual donors capable of giving $10,000 or more annually.
- Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, tailoring approaches to align with donor interests and organizational goals.
- Conduct 10-12 high-quality donor interactions monthly, including in-person meetings, phone calls, event engagement, and proposals.
- Create and execute individualized donor strategies in collaboration with key CRNC staff and select board members.

Work Environment :
The employee typically works indoors in a standard office environment but is required to travel to other locations for station events and donor meetings.
