GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The purpose of this position is to support the Agency’s needs by assisting the Program Manager with the administrative oversight and management of operations of the shelter.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Assist in the hiring, training and supervision of program Guest Support Aides.
- Maintain weekly staff schedule. Approve vacation/time off requests and ensure that all shifts have the appropriate coverage
- Review and approved all time in ADP
- Complete all reviews in ADP (90-day, 180-day, and annual reviews). Complete any progressive discipline paperwork as needed
- Conduct supervision/check-ins with Guest Support Aides monthly or as needed
- Make sure Program Policies and Procedures are adhered to by Staff and Guests of the shelter.
- Facilitate monthly and/or as necessary House Meetings for Guests of the shelter
- Facilitate Monthly Shelter Staff Meetings.
- Resolve McKinney Shelter Guest conflicts (Guest to Guest and Guest to Staff)
- Review all incident reports and Guest suspensions
- Attend meetings within CRT or outside the CRT agency as necessary.
- Assist the Guest Support Aides with the monitoring of the Guests and the Facility. Including the covering of shifts when needed.
- Assist the Program Manager with the review of and the updating of Policies and Procedures when necessary
- Ensure the accuracy of the nightly bed roster and that intakes and discharges are being completed in HMIS.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Services required.
Minimum Years of Experience: One (1) year of experience in Human Service Programs. Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in working with clients with substance abuse, mental illness and chronic homelessness issues is required.
Demonstrate skills in: Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. Demonstrates the ability to work in collaboration with a variety of service providers. Experience working with individuals from diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds required.
