Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Reentry Services, the Implementation and Development Director will assist in the operations of the Reentry Services service line by overseeing and supporting essential functions related to data analysis and data presentation; evidence-based programming, and staff development. The Implementation and Development Director will participate in strategic planning and new program development for Reentry Services. This is a hybrid position and the incumbent can work from NY, NH, MA, RI, or CT.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise SJS Operations Coordinator
  • Assist with the supervision of interns
  • Internal subject matter expert in the reentry services data management systems
  • Work with SJS Leaders to improve the quality of services through systems and technology.
  • Create and deliver training to Staff in coordination with the HR & Culture Team.
  • Identify training opportunities internally and externally that would be beneficial for SJS staff.
  • Lead in evidence-based programming (EBP), including core correctional practices, risk / need assessment, manage policy and procedures to support EBP.
  • Collaborate with Standards & Quality Assurance to identify and resolve problems surrounding quality and consistency.
  • Provide direction to Operation Coordinator
  • Work in collaboration with Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Training
  • Provide input into budget development and monitor billing as assigned.
  • Collect and clean data from multiple sources to produce performance metric slides that relate to performance outcomes.
  • Build partnerships across Service Lines.
  • Liaison between line program staff and management; maintain trust, credibility, and support.
  • Manage Data and Tech Committees.
  • Travel Requirements

  • Some Travel : – Travel to programs quarterly or as needed for implementation support and training. Overnight travel one – two times per year for conferences.
  • Required Skills / Abilities

  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Familiarity with data systems
  • Expert status with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, proficient with other Microsoft Office products.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality
  • Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Previous experience in training and project management.
