About the Role
This part-time position requires 16 hours of work per week at our Templeton, MA location. As a Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clients in various settings, including job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips.
You will act as a positive role model for clients, helping them attain the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings.

Community Resources for Justice (CRJ) is a unique, 145-year-old nonprofit organization that provides direct care, research, and consulting services in the areas of Mental Health, Criminal Justice, and Public Policy.
We have four service lines: Social Justice Services, Community Strategies, Behavioral Health, and the Crime and Justice Institute. Our services are recognized for their effectiveness and contributions to this important work.
Our Service Lines
- Community Strategies (CS): supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services, including Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, and community-based group homes.
- Social Justice Services (SJS): supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs.
- Behavioral Health (BH): works to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
- The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI): provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, corrections, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
