Responsibilities-
CRA is in serious growth mode and has ALOT of new business workflow. This job will be 60% placement of new Commercial P&C insurance business for an independent insurance agency and 40% renewal book management. 95% of NB submissions are multi-family real estate and/or community association risks. This job does not require any sales. Just placement and marketing accounts to with various carrier partners. Placement involves:
- Developing Acords, Carrier Supplementals, Statement of Values (SOV's) and procuring other documents required to 'submit' business to insurance carriers.
- Negotiation of coverage terms and placement of insurance coverage's with various insurance companies. (Mostly Property, Liability, Directors & Officers, Crime, Umbrella & Workers' Compensation).
- Agency Proposal Development and Delivery
- Binding coverage, Agency Bill invoicing and subsequent tracking of AP/AR within Agency Management System.
- Managing and organizing a NB pipeline with dozens of opportunities in various stages of development at any given time.
- Coordinating with Producer on NB quotes, proposals and opportunities.
- Managing good relationships with carrier Underwriters.
- Servicing & Renewing a small book of commercial P&C clients
Required Work Experience-
- 3 Years of experience in the placement of Commercial P&C insurance coverage at an independent insurance agency.
- Experience in online rating and traditional Acord-based submission processes.
- Additional consideration will be given to those candidates with experience in the placement of Real Estate and/or Multi-Family Habitational risk(s).
- Previous experience in AMS360 or Epic is also preferred.

Education-
Experience is more valuable than education. 4-year degree preferred but by no means required. Insurance Industry designation or confirmation of pursuit is a plus (CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, CLCS, etc.).

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
