Job Description:
Loudoun Insurance Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and assist with assigned commercial P & C clients. The goal is to grow our book of business and retain current clients by providing outstanding customer service. As an Account Manager, you would be the day-to-day client contact, servicing a book of business for a wide range of business types and sizes, negotiating pricing and coverage options with carriers, maintaining accurate and complete documentation of accounts within agency management system along with assisting commercial sales team with additional tasks as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage the daily account management of an assigned book of business, including invoicing, premium breakdowns, policy changes, review of policy forms, providing coverage comparisons, and responding to policy questions.
Oversee the completion of administrative tasks including issuance of auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements.
Build successful relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to improve client retention.
Identify gaps in coverage and options to advise clients.
Support the renewal process for all assigned and prospective clients including:
Ordering updated loss information
Obtaining updated information from client and handling renewal applications
Renewal marketing including negotiating market- appropriate pricing on behalf of the client
Reviewing and facilitating the renewal pricing including preparing renewal proposals, and binders.
Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding. Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills
Team-player with a positive attitude
Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance Coverage.
Experience with Technology Accounts, Cyber, and Management Liability is preferred.
Ability to review, analyze, and compare coverage forms.
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
Ability to work with basic Microsoft Office Programs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast paced work environment
Ability to follow procedures and regulatory requirements
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Desire to help clients in a patient and timely manner
Experience working with Wholesalers/Brokers (E&S) is a plus
