- Oversee loan portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loans, payments, and disbursements. Ensure all loan activities are processed according to prescribed departmental procedures.
- Lead and supervise a team of loan servicing professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Develop and implement loan servicing strategies and policies to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve customer satisfaction. Regularly review and refine processes for continuous improvement.
- Respond to customer inquiries (internal/external) in a timely, professional, and efficient manner. Assist customers with loan-related issues through phone, email, or letters, providing clear and accurate information.
- Collaborate with underwriting, collections, and other cross-functional teams to streamline loan servicing operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform file maintenance and transactions on accounts as necessary. Assist with loan accounting and reconciliation activities to ensure accurate records.
- Interact with system support personnel to resolve any technical issues related to loan operations and ensure system functionality.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, gathering data from internal and external sources. Provide relevant insights to management regarding portfolio performance and operational efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed, including assistance with backlog reduction and meeting established deadlines.
- 5 years of experience in loan servicing, with a proven track record of managing loan portfolios and overseeing loan operations.
- In-depth understanding of banking industry practices, loan products, and loan servicing policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (formula creation and data analysis) and accurate data entry.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and personal information with trust, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address loan-related issues effectively and efficiently.
