As a key performer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives (AEs) to originate mortgage loans, focusing on non-QM (Non-Qualified Mortgage) products, and meeting production milestones. Your primary duties will include developing leads, originating loans through branches, and loan officers, and ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and originate mortgage loans through branch referrals, realtors, and builders. Responsible for meeting the target of 35-40 qualified applications per month and closing $20,000,000 in new monthly loan volume.
- Mentor and guide a team of Account Executives to achieve region objectives and sales goals. Provide daily coaching, product education, and support in building broker relationships. Focus on developing AE trainees in non-QM loan products, and, once trained, oversee team performance as a traditional sales manager.
- Oversee and manage sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring that production targets are consistently met. Drive new volume and gain market share through innovative strategies.
- Develop and facilitate sales meetings, training sessions, and product workshops for your team. Ensure Account Executives are well-versed in loan products, sales strategies, and bank procedures.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with state and federal lending regulations, including applicable industry laws. Ensure loan originations, processing, and closing functions are executed according to compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the operations team and other department leaders to ensure smooth loan origination and processing. Provide support to branch personnel and respond to referrals for new business opportunities.
- Proven experience in managing a sales team within a mortgage or financial services environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide team members to meet sales goals.
- Deep knowledge of non-agency/non-QM mortgage products and how to position them in the market. Expertise in mortgage industry standards and regulations.
- In-depth understanding of state and federal lending regulations and the ability to ensure compliance with these laws in all sales activities.
- Solid understanding of credit, title, escrow, underwriting, loan processing, and closing functions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a team, work with clients, and collaborate across departments.
- Creative thinking with the ability to identify and implement new strategies to drive loan volume and gain market share.
- 3-5 years of sales management experience
- Experience in non-QM loan products is highly preferred.
- Previous experience managing Account Executives
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal teams.
