Job Description:
Our K-8 School is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Digital Arts Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As the Digital Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive digital arts curriculum for students in grades K-8.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach engaging and age-appropriate digital arts lessons to students from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
- Integrate technology tools and software into instruction to enhance students' creativity and understanding of digital arts concepts.
- Teach students various digital arts techniques such as graphic design, animation, video editing, and digital photography.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate digital arts projects across different subject areas.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them develop their artistic skills.
- Organize and supervise digital arts exhibitions or showcases to display students' work.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in digital arts and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience teaching digital arts to students in a K-8 environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital arts software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of digital arts techniques, processes, and concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and artistic expression.
