Community School of Naples (CSN), an independent college preparatory school, is currently seeking a collaborative, talented and engaging Lower School Assistant to start on August 6, 2025.
Classroom Assistants (grades PK3-K) play a vital role in supporting teachers, helping to create a learning environment that is engaged and organized. Their tasks range from assisting with classroom management to providing one-on-one attention to students who may need extra help.
CSN is one of the top independent, non-sectarian day schools in Florida and maintains a PK-12 school enrollment of 1000 students. CSN students are consistently top-ranked when compared to all other Southwest Florida high schools when it comes to test scores, extracurricular activities, and college acceptances. Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree or higher is preferred.
- At least one year of experience working with young children in a classroom and / or day care setting is required.
- Effective communication, patience, flexibility, empathy and ability to work on a team.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Commitment to high standards of professionalism and confidentiality pertaining to personal or professional information about community members.
- Follow guidance and give clear, concise directions.
- Work in a fast-paced work environment; able to multi-task.

This appointment is for the 2025 / 2026 academic year starting with orientation on August 6, 2025, and is paid on an hourly basis. This position accrues paid time off that can be used to cover pay during academic and holiday breaks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) Summers are off without pay.
