LOCATION: Dublin, Georgia
The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia's Adult Outpatient department is seeking qualified candidates to serve as a Registered Nurse! The Registered Nurse selected for this role will be responsible for the direct care of individuals in our I/DD program (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities). The selected candidate will also have some responsibilities in our adult outpatient division, where they will work with patients with various psychiatric/behavioral health diagnosis. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
- Working with physicians, PA's, NP's via zoom and in clinic
- Maintaining complete, accurate healthcare records and reports
- Medication administration, including injections
- Monitoring patients for side effects or reactions. Phlebotomy
- Documenting vital signs and psychiatric/medical information
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting symptoms or change in patients conditions and responses
- Effectively communicating with patients and their families, providers, and others
- Complete prior authorizations and patient assistance applications in a timely manner
- Return phone calls and answer messages
- Ability to multitask while providing a high standard of care to our patients and be able to work autonomously as a team
- Maintain HIPAA regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Here are some of the things we require:
- Associates Degree or Higher in Nursing
- Valid Georgia Registered Nursing License
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly
