CSET has an opening in CSET's Community Relations and Marketing department. The position will assist with external and internal communications, public relations, and community engagement activities to support CSET's Mission and programs. The position will also develop multimedia materials, prepare press releases, plan special events, create social media postings, and assist program staff with special outreach campaigns.

SCOPE OF WORK :

This position is responsible for assisting with the organization's external and internal communications, public relations, and community engagement activities to support CSET's mission and programs. The position will also develop multimedia materials, prepare press releases and assist program staff with special outreach campaigns.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Develop print communications such as annual reports, brochures, newsletters, flyers and other program-specific marketing materials;
  • Workclosely with program staff to implement marketing opportunities;
  • Write and post items for social media accounts and seek opportunities for increased engagement;
  • Prepare, review and edit press releases to be distributed to local media;
  • Workclosely with Resource Development to create agency and program narratives for use in proposals and marketing
  • Implement effective marketing efforts that are culturally competent and meet program objectives;
  • Coordinate with program and internal staff to conduct special outreach campaigns
  • Prepare monthly reports on marketing strategies, activities and
  • Research, write, and distribute internal andexternal
  • Assistinmanaging theorganization'swebsite and make updates to websitetoensuretimelyandaccurate
  • Assistinplanningand coordinating internal and external events, take photographs anddistribute
  • Workcloselywith program staff to develop and update marketing materials for CSET programs, services and events utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite and other creativity software.

SKILLS & ABILITIES :

  • Knowledge of current principles, techniques and objectives of public information and
  • Knowledge of media tactics, including interview techniques and preparation Experience with Desktop publishing including Adobe Creative Suite programs and Canva
  • Strong graphic design, speaking, and writing
  • Knowledge of marketing and public
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with CSET leadership, partners, and members of the
