**About the Role:**
This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with autism and make a meaningful difference in their lives. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one direct care and support, helping residents develop essential life skills and become active members of their communities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including teaching money management, housekeeping, cooking, personal care, and socialization.
- Develop and maintain a safe and supportive home environment that promotes the well-being of the resident.
- Implement the IP and document all activities on the weekly activity schedule.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a human services discipline (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, etc.) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Two years' experience working with individuals with autism required if candidate only holds a high school diploma, or one year related experience if candidate holds an Associate's degree.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, patience, care, and concern for new and sometimes stressful situations, along with strong organizational skills to provide effective case management services.
