Position Overview
The Division Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and leading a high-performing sales force to renew and expand PRI’s existing $1.5 million active account volume. This role is critical in rebuilding the program through new book offerings and expanded distribution channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong sales background, capable of hiring, training, motivating, and managing a team to meet and exceed sales goals.
This position reports directly to Lee DuBois, Executive Vice President of Sales.
Company Overview:
Good Will Publishers is an 87 year old family owned business with multiple sales divisions. We support traditional values and do not shy away from our Christian identity. Public Relations Institute (PRI) is a sales division within the Good Will umbrella that focuses on selling character education programs into small towns across America through a “sponsorship” sales model.
Expectation:
PRI sales this year will be $175,000 with 1.5 reps. The expectation is to grow a sales force and renew existing renewals to increase sales to $500,000 in year one. This can be done with current renewals alone. From there, we will begin new efforts such as bigger town expansion and restoration of lapsed accounts. Within 3 years, PRI should be restored to a $1 million per year sales division of Good Will Publishers.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, Hire, and Build a high-performing sales team to drive account renewals and new business growth.
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies to maintain and expand PRI’s existing customer base.
- Set and Monitor Sales Goals to ensure the team meets renewal targets and acquires new distribution points.
- Train and Coach Sales Representatives in best practices, including prospecting, closing sales, and relationship management.
- Manage Sales Performance & Reporting, providing detailed insights into team progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Implement Motivation and Retention Strategies to keep the sales team engaged, focused, and productive.
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership to refine sales strategies and support overall business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in publishing, media, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of recruiting, training, and scaling sales teams.
- Strong ability to hit and exceed sales targets consistently.
- Experience in account renewals, business development, and strategic sales growth.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team toward success.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in hiring, firing, and performance management of sales personnel.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits

Expected Comp Range: $80,000 - $100,000
- Salary of $70,000 1% override on all sales in PRI.
- Quarterly and Annual bonus structures will be put in place to add around $30,000 of potential additional earnings.
