Community Servings' mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. We are a dynamic and fast-growing agency at the forefront of the "Food is Medicine" field, providing over 1M medically tailored meals annually to clients and their families experiencing illness and food insecurity in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. In addition, our work strongly focuses on supporting the regional local food system, delivering high-quality nutrition education to the community, and hosting an on-site food-service workforce development program. Over the past 35 years, the agency has provided 14M free, scratch-made meals.
We are seeking a skilled Technical Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing business needs, designing efficient Salesforce architecture, building and managing integrations, providing excellent solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce configuration, data modeling, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between current and desired functionality.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage application related projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Salesforce Configuration & Customization:
- Configure Salesforce features such as, flows, validation rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Map processes with stakeholders and build solutions to address their pain points through the use of custom objects, fields, and automation.
- Build and update Experience Cloud, Visualforce pages, and managed packages in Salesforce.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity, deduplication, and governance within Salesforce.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Build and manage integrations with other platforms such as Make.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the liaison between business teams, technical teams, and Salesforce administrator.
- Conduct user training sessions and create best practice documentation.
- Testing & Deployment:
- Develop test cases and perform UAT to ensure quality delivery.
- Assist in change management, release planning, and post-implementation support.
- Experience:
- 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Non-Profit Success Pack.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Reports, Dashboards).
- Experience with data migration, integrations, or API-based solutions.
- Experience with the HIPAA Privacy Rule is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and security model.
- Ability to write SOQL queries
- Basic understanding of Apex a plus
- Knowledge of third-party integrations and ETL tools (Make, Mulesoft, Workato, Skyvia).).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification
- Salesforce Platform App Builder or other relevant certifications
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
