TITLE: VP Treasury Management

JOB SUMMARY:
The VP Treasury Management is primarily responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling, and supporting Treasury Management services and products to existing and prospective business clients by developing relationships throughout the community. This position will work closely with the Commercial and Treasury Management relationship managers to enhance calling efforts and retention activities by assisting in promoting bank services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for sales, new product testing, client installations, and overall support of the Treasury Management services in a high-quality manner.
- Responsible for on-site training for new Treasury Management clients, preparing training manuals and procedures, obtaining required Agreements, and verifying appropriate documentation has been completed and received.
- Assist SVP Treasury Management in developing and introducing new Treasury Management products, including assisting with outside sales, training, and implementation.
- Independently perform risk and cost benefit analysis for commercial clients. Responsible for assessing client needs and recommending effective strategies for Treasury Management products and services.
- Perform independent pricing decisions that adhere to Bank’s philosophy and goals.
- Review monthly profitability reports for accuracy and recommendations to improve product line revenues.
- Assist SVP Treasury Management in revising and maintaining policies, procedures, and Agreements for Treasury Management products/services to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external clients at all times. This includes an obligation to actively cooperate and interact with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interests of Community State Bank.
- Responsible for ensuring the fullest integration of CSB products/services with existing client relationships.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with clients.
- Maintain a strong professional demeanor, as well as enthusiasm in representing the bank’s goals and objectives.
- Assist SVP Treasury Management in analyzing and preparing Request for Proposals.
- Monitor special pricing/handling and monthly account analysis statements for accuracy.
- Perform other duties in the absence of other Treasury Management employees and backup for the SVP Treasury Management or in times of unusual activity.
- Maintain educational and professional expertise through attendance of job-related seminars, conferences, and workshops.
- Participation in community involvement is required. This involvement can include professional, civic and community groups.
- Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience preferred.
- Minimum seven years’ experience in a similar position or combination of equivalent education and experience. Previous bank industry and sales experience strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality.
- Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize and manage a variety of assignments in a fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Duties are performed in a professional office environment.
- Requires travel to other bank or client locations.
