We are seeking a Senior Group Leader who will be responsible for providing before school and after school care for children in CTIs School Age Program. They will receive staffing assignments regarding daily curriculum, provide supervision to children in 1:13 ratio, and act as a coach to the youth enrolled.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent as the supervisor in charge when a Site Manager is not on site.
- Assist in implementing program policies and procedures including maintaining accurate attendance and other records, following Early Education and Care Regulations and USDA Guidelines.
- Responsible for working at all school age sites as assigned.
- Provide supervision and safety of children. Maintain a daily group list and attendance.
- Recognize the child enrolled as an individual, helping children to develop as a member of the group.
- Present respectful communication and maintain standards for behavior through a positive approach.
- Assist in creating the weekly curriculum.
- Assist with daily activities and follow the daily curriculum plans and schedule.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces that include setting up the daily spaces (ie: breaking down tables, rearranging the spaces and cleaning at the end of the day).
- Participate in case management of families involved. Share concerns about children and families with Site Manager.
- Maintain confidentiality of children and families.
- Broaden knowledge of the cultural and ethnic heritage of the children and families served.
Qualifications
- Successful CORI/SORI/DCF/Fingerprinting
- Evidence of physical exam within 1 year of hire date
- Evidence or immunity to MMR
- Evidence of covid - 19 vaccination or medical/religious approved exemption prior to start
- Participate in a minimum 12 hours of EEC approved training
- Must be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid as required by EEC
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a desire to work with youth.

- Have a bachelors or associates degree and 3 months experience working with school age children; OR
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent; and have 6 months experience including 3 months supervised experience at a school age child-care program; OR
- Have nine months experience with school age children including three months supervised experience at a school age child-care program.
