Early Childhood Assistant Teacher - Infants

Tiny Human Leaders Wanted!

We are looking for tiny human leaders (A.K.A. Assistant Teachers) to work in our Infant classroom in Cedar Falls center. Experience with infants and children is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Change, feed and care for infants starting at 6 weeks.
• The ability to perform in a high sensory room
• Monitor and observe infants during play time
• Ability to sit, stand and move around for long periods of time, including holding infants ages 8 weeks - 18 months.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a licensed early childhood program preferred but we are willing to train the right individual
• Must be willing to learn and appreciate our core values which are: providing care to children in a warm and nurturing environment while meeting the social emotional and educational needs of the children.
• Must be willing to obtain training in CPR/First Aid, mandatory child abuse reporter, Universal Precautions and Essentials in Child Care within the first 90 days of employment.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not necessary
