What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Community Veterinary Clinic?
Join our private, family-owned small animal veterinary clinic. We are committed to providing the best possible affordable care, in a non-judgmental, friendly setting where everyone feels at home.
We have a growing clinic practicing largely preventive medicine. We do minor medical, non-emergent medical visits. We have in-house blood work, urinalysis and digital radiographs provided via Idexx, who are also our reference lab of choice. There is also an in-house ultrasound as well as the ability to call in a mobile veterinary imaging unit. We are in the process of moving into a new facility and have created a mentorship program for our young veterinarians.
Currently, we are open five days a week with the hope of extending our hours and services with the right candidate. We feel a work / life balance is very important considering the stresses / mental health issues that can occur in the industry. We have a number of choices for referral / emergent and overnight care in the area.
Our practice offers excellent salary and benefits which include, 401k with company match, licenses paid for yearly, generous CE allowance, paid vacation, and generous employee discounts.
The ideal applicant is a kind person who enjoys providing preventive care and a first opinion at affordable prices. Experience is preferred but we are open to mentoring new graduates. Non-judgemental compassion for both four and two legged beings is a must.
