Description of the role:
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machines in order to ensure smooth operations at Community Wellness Partners in Clinton, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Performing regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and machines
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
- Ordering and replacing parts as needed
- Implementing preventive maintenance measures
- Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Flooring, and Ground.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in hot & cold, sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, walk, lift 50 lb.
- Able to help with snow removal.
- Work around elderly.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Clean valid driver's license, some personal hand tools.
