Community Youth Services' Street Outreach Program is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as Street Ourtreach Case Manager. The Street Outreach Case Manager is a pivotal role within our organization, serving as the first point of contact for homeless and street-dependent youth. This position operates within two teams: Street Outreach and Rosie’s Place Drop-In & Resource Center. The case manager engages with youth on the streets, at community sites, and within school districts, providing them with case management and connecting them to essential services.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position with starting pay from $21.48 to $27.54 per hour.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years in education or direct experience with high-risk youth; social science background preferred.
- Valid TB test within the last year or obtain a negative result within 30 days of employment.
- Must carry a cell phone during work hours.
Program Qualifications:
- Ability to establish respectful relationships and effectively manage crises.
- Multitasking in a dynamic setting; flexible schedule with evening and weekend availability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organizational skills; able to carry 30lb for 2-3 hours.
- Creative and compassionate approach with a sense of humor.
Key Responsiblities:
- Engage and support at-risk youth through street outreach, community sites, and school district collaborations.
- Provide crisis intervention, emergency supplies, and information on available resources and services.
- Facilitate access to comprehensive services, including basic needs, housing, education, healthcare, and counseling.
- Deliver individualized case management employing best practices like active listening and motivational interviewing.
- Organize recreational and educational activities, and maintain partnerships with community organizations for coordinated support.

Agency Qualifications:
- Successfully clear a thorough background check with no history of causing harm, particularly to children or vulnerable adults.
- Maintain a clean criminal record, demonstrating professional and personal integrity.
- Hold a valid Washington State Driver's License with at least five years of driving experience and a good driving record for the past three years.
- Provide proof of auto insurance with coverage of $100,000 or more.
- Show cultural sensitivity and the ability to respond to the diverse needs of the organization’s community.
- Acquire CPR/1st Aid/Bloodborne Pathogen certification within 30 days of employment (required before starting some positions).
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
