Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Director to lead and oversee complex construction projects at COMPA Industries, Inc.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, earned value management systems (EVMS), risk mitigation, and construction execution in nuclear environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-impact construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and under budget.
- Provide oversight for superintendent-level personnel, ensuring project goals align with company objectives.
- Initiate and lead investigations into abnormal events, incidents, and accidents, determining root causes and corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven leadership ability to manage large-scale construction projects, direct cross-functional teams, and manage high-stakes projects within a regulated environment.
- Advanced knowledge in project scope management, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, with experience using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Extensive experience in identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring compliance with DOE nuclear safety protocols and federal construction regulations.
- Nuclear facility construction experience, ensuring adherence to DOE and federal regulations.
Clearance Requirement: Active DOE Q Clearance required.
