Come and take on the challenge of being a Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Risk and Hazard Specialist at COMPA Industries, Inc.! In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and performing risk and hazard analyses to ensure the safe operation of facilities in compliance with DOE safety regulations.
This role requires expertise in conducting hazard identification, hazard analysis, accident analysis, and facility hazard categorization. You will also develop and maintain safety basis documents, including Unreviewed Safety Question Determinations (USQD), Documented Safety Analyses (DSA), Technical Safety Requirements (TSR), and Facility Safety Plans.
Key responsibilities include assisting in revisions to Safety Basis (SB) policy and implementing documents, ensuring alignment with DOE standards and best practices. Furthermore, you will lead and present technical training programs on DSA and TSR writing, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development across teams.
A National Training Center (NTC) Master Instructor qualification for USQ and TSR classes is preferred. Experience in policy development and implementation for safety basis programs, as well as a strong background in nuclear and non-nuclear facility safety analysis, is also desirable.
