Compensation: $16.00 to $36.34 hourly, commensurate with education and experience.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following Qualities
Under the supervision and direction of the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), the Risk Management/Infection Control Specialist promotes El Centro Family Health (ECFH) to its patients, customers and public with relations that are consistent with the organization's mission, vision and overall goals and objectives. The Risk Management/Infection Control Specialist oversees Compliance, Risk Management activities and is responsible for organization-wide infection prevention/control and safety program. As Infection Control Support Specialist performs a variety of specialized clerical and technical duties. The purpose is to ensure that we have procedures and policies consistent with preventing the spread of infection.
The Compliance Officer/Infection Control Specialist position requires strong, creative, and conceptual thinking skills; strong presentation skills; analytical and problem resolution skills; strong communication skills, both verbal and written; strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with people at all levels within the organization and external entities; working knowledge of practices within the health care industry. Infection Control Specialist the position permits access to patient information and administration resources which are pertinent to completing tasks designated by the Chief Clinical Officer.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience for RN or five years' experience for LPN.
