Job Summary:
We are seeking a SKILLED Caregiver to provide essential assistance to an elderly male client that may have dementia.
He requires mostly companion care along with some homemaker help.
The shift is 24 hours per week for 6 days (excluding Sundays) at 4 hour shifts.
The Caregiver must know how to handle a client with possible dementia. We are seeking someone with experience as a caregiver. If you do not have this experience on your resume, please do not apply!
This service may turn into PCA service in the future so the Caregiver must have experience in duties such as bathing/showering, changing, grooming, etc.
Companion/Homemaker Rate: $16.50/hr
Schedule is: 4 hour shift from 10AM to 2PM, Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat, (Mon thru Sat) (6 days)
Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Aid in mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Follow care plans and ensure all needs are met
