Regional Finance Manager – Multi-Site Operations
We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple facilities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic leader to drive alignment, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence across locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement standardized processes for financial planning, reporting, and consolidation across multiple business units, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges in accounting systems and financial operations.
- Analyze financial and operational data to evaluate profitability, budget performance, and overall organizational efficiency.
- Support the development and execution of annual budgets and long-term business plans.
- Consolidate and review monthly and yearly financial results for assigned locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data to support decision-making.
- Provide hands-on financial and operational support to address real-time challenges.
- Act as the subject matter expert for financial systems, including ERP tools and reporting platforms.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with purchasing policies, financial controls, and key operational standards.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure adherence to key control processes, including compliance with SOX requirements.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives by validating cost savings and approving projects in a timely manner.
- Oversee periodic reviews of Bills of Materials (BOM) and ensure accurate standard cost-setting processes.
- Audit and enforce compliance with corporate policies and procedures during site visits, providing guidance as needed.
- Safeguard the integrity of critical financial documents such as checks, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Foster a work environment that values equity, diversity, and respect, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Previous experience as a Plant Controller or similar position is strongly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and industry compliance requirements.
- Expertise in IFRS/US GAAP principles and operational finance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
