Who We Are:
Our story began in 1966 when Drs. Robert Taylor, Harris Knudson, and James Lum joined together to form Taylor, Knudson & Lum, a radiology and radiation oncology practice. The practice expanded in 1969 with the additions of Dr. Francis Esposito, followed by Drs. Richard Ellis and Paul Bandt in 1971. In 1977, the practice was renamed Desert Radiologists. In 1987, the practice relocated to the 2020 Palomino Lane building and still operates as an imaging center today. The practice name was officially changed to Desert Radiology in 2017. In June 2019, Desert Radiology (DR) and Radiology Partners (RP) announced their partnership.

Desert Radiology in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking an MRI Technologist.
MRI Technologist | Desert Radiology | Full Time Float | 16444
Summary: The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures as prescribed by a physician. Follows established techniques and methods in operating equipment and processing images. Ensures technical quality of images and exercises judgment in processing assigned work load. May assist the radiologist in performing image-guided diagnostic and invasive procedures (e.g., MRI breast biopsy).
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
- Knowledge of basic radiologic methods and techniques such as chest, upper and lower gastrointestinal, planigram, fluoroscopic and skeletal procedures normally acquired through completion of twenty-four month radiologic technology training program.
Pay range for this position is $39.00 - $50.00 per hour.
